Not every walk with your dog can be a walk in the park. Sometimes walks are more akin to an uphill battle when trying to get your dog to stop pulling towards their desired location/target. The first step in teaching your dog better leash manners is to have the correct tools and there is no better non-aversive, pull-deterrent harness on the market than the Freedom No Pull Harness by 2 Hounds Design.
Equipped with two control points via the back and front loop, the Freedom No-Pull Harness will give you better control during walks. The chest clip and the tightening effect of the loop work in tandem to minimize the likelihood of your dog pulling by discouraging what’s known as the “opposition reflex,” which is the reflex that encourages dogs to pull against pressure caused by traditional harnesses.
The harness features four adjustments points and Swiss Velvet lining on the chest strap to prevent rubbing and chafing behind the legs. Made with stainless steel hardware and strong nylon webbing, you will never have to worry about rusting or breakage.
Sizing
The X-Small, Small, and Medium (Thin) are 5/8" wide; all other sizes are 1' wide.
Use a soft tape measure around the widest part of your dog's chest (rib cage), behind the front legs. The tape measure should be flat to the dog, not pulled tight, but not loose. Use the girth and not the dog's weight, as the weight is only approximate. If your dog is between sizes, choose the smaller size unless you expect your dog to get bigger.

Matching Leash
The Double Freedom Leash, which comes in coordinating colors, allows you to connect to the front and back of the harness simultaneously. Alternatively, you can use the training leash to connect to the harness and a collar at the same time, providing additional control points. We also carry color-coordinating Swiss Velvet leashes.
